Good Riddance 2020

I sincerely hope this blog entry finds you healthy – physically and mentally. It’s been quite the year, and I’m so glad to be writing this final blog of 2020. We made it! The countdown is on to 2021! Here’s a bullet-list of 2020 highlights lowlights and need-to-knows for what remains of 2020, as it relates to your chiropractic and physical healthcare:

Need-to-Know

  • My last day in the office before the holiday season is Monday, December 21, 2020.
  • I will be returning on Monday, January 4, 2020 (although, nothing is written in stone these days).
  • 2 weeks left to get some chiropractic care on those nagging injuries or to examine that new complaint.
  • 2 weeks left to use your health insurance for custom orthotics.
  • Some of my LiveWell colleagues will be available during the holidays if you are in need of care.

2020 Recap (short version)

  • Covid-19 Wave #1 Shutdown in March, 2020 led to the permanent closure of Satori
  • LiveWell Health and Wellness emerged from the Shutdown and opened in July
  • Life has been different, weird, confusing, and difficult.
  • Health in general, physical and mental health specifically, have been emphasized as priorities during the pandemic. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. My physical health services are open and I am available to help.

Holiday Thoughts

  • If, like me, you’re lighting the first Chanukah candle this Thursday: Happy Chanukah!
  • After a very stressful year, I’m looking forward to some time off in my new vacation spot – perhaps you’ve heard of it: ‘The Den’
  • I am grateful this year for my health and the health of my loved ones.
  • And, I am grateful to my colleagues work-friends for their support this year. We stuck together and made lemonade from lemons. I am thrilled to still be working at 33 Hazelton Avenue and I look forward to looking after your physical health needs in the future.
  • TV Shows I recommend: Ted Lasso (Apple TV), Younger (Amazon), The 100 (Netflix), The Morning Show (Apple TV), Schitt’s Creek (CBC, Netflix), and if you’re into stand-up comedy: Nate Bargatze – The Tennessee Kid (Netflix)
  • Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
  • Stay safe.
  • Don’t forget to laugh.
